Fading West is proud to have partnered with the Craig Housing Authority to deliver the modular homes for the Townhomes at 8th Street project in Craig, Colorado. As the modular builder, we manufactured 40 high-quality modular boxes at our facility in Buena Vista. This modular construction approach allowed for a significantly faster and more cost-effective build, helping to bring much-needed housing to the area quickly and efficiently.

The development includes 20 townhomes: 12 two-bedroom Antero units and 8 three-bedroom Shavano units designed to meet the needs of local working families. Each unit features modern, all-electric appliances, fenced backyards, covered front patios, and two covered parking spaces with EV charging capabilities. As the first housing project of its kind in Craig in over 40 years, this $11.5 million redevelopment plays a critical role in expanding homeownership opportunities. The homes are deed-restricted to preserve long-term affordability and were made possible through strong collaboration between public and private partners. This project highlights our commitment to creating sustainable, attainable housing that strengthens Colorado communities.
